Adri Goes to Cleveland

Hola amigos! Shout out to Aleeya who is getting baptized this weekend! That's so awesome! I wish I could be there! What a great week Sister Stephan and I had! Right now as I write I can't remember everything that happened, but I know it feels good to look back on the week. I'm so grateful for the wonderful miracles we've seen these past couple weeks!  We are teaching a girl at Oakland University named Adrienne ( ). She is super sweet and very very shy. She is so quiet we do a lot of sitting in silence to give her time to answer our questions. She is almost done with all of the lessons right now and is scheduled to be baptized on  September 1st . She doesn't feel quite ready right now to be baptized. She has said she knows all that we teach is true but she's also said she isn't sure yet. She is reading the Book of Mormon and praying so I know that she will know for a surety that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth. We love her a

Hey fam! I know what you're thinking: "What is Sister Grant doing emailing on a  Monday ?" Well welcome to my preparation day because I'm in Michigan! I am currently serving in a YSA/ Campus area. I'm also serving as an STL.. a lone one.. my comp isn't another STL.. I have no idea how that works so if any of you do I would love a run down because wow am I confused. :)  I'm assigned to serve in the Bloomfield Hills YSA Branch and my area is Oakland University campus! It's cool! School isn't in yet so we don't go too much, but I'm excited for when the semester starts! We cover the entire Bloomfield Hills Stake which means we cover Detroit! WE LITERALLY COVER THE CITY OF DETROIT! It's so legit! Ever since we got the news that our mission was gonna be the Michigan Detroit Mission I've been saying for someone to send me to 8 Mile and they did! I LOVE THE GHETTO! Hey hey everyone! Last night we got calls for transfers and unfortunately I'm leaving Bowling Green. Two and a half transfers is way too short of time to spend here. I'm super sad because basically my family is here. It will be good though! I don't know where I'm going or who I'll be with but I'm super sad to go. You may here from me  next Monday  or  Wednesday ! Love you all! Here are some pics of the week. Our lessons are going so good. We have a great teaching pool here and I'm not ready to leave any of them. I love every person in Bowling Green. Every single one. We have some great progressing investigators right now and I"m really not ready to leave them at all. Tyler, Dan, Brandon, Joan, Janice and Kristin, and all of them! I'm having a hard time accepting that I leave  tomorrow , but it's okay because I know it will be great!  It's been hot but not too humid! There was only one humid day this week!  Watch this video! HELLO! What a great week I had! Here are some highlights! First off, HAPPY LATE 4TH OF JULY! We went to the Toledo zoo! It was a great time! It's also an aquarium! I LOVE FISH! Also I fed a giraffe and saw an elephant!!!!!! Basically it was the best day of my life so far. I love the 4th of July!  We also went to good ole Michigan this week for MLC! That was so great! I saw Sister Rice! She's a family friend from home and now we're in the same mish! Cool stuff!  Tyler is on date to be baptized on  September 8th ! We think we're going to have to push Dan's date for baptism back. He really desires to know the church is true but has had a hard time receiving and recognizing an answer. He has a lot of deep concerns and questions. Please keep Dan in your prayers to understand and recognize and to have faith in the truth. HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!  GREAT WEEK!  Sister Chance and I have had a lot of fun!  I'm not sure what happened before   Sunday   but as of   Sunday   I am officially a Michigan Detroit Missionary/ What a great thing! We met with President Cleveland and he is great! We are going to  Detroit  on Friday   for MLC. It'll be real fun.
