I Don't Have a Title for This One
Hello familia!
This week was a blur! It's been good though!
We taught Connie the restoration on Saturday. She is so sweet. She even made us cookies! To refresh your memories (because it's been a LONG time since we've seen Connie)... Connie was a referral for a large print Book of Mormon. Her granddaughter is a convert in the YSA branch here and is on a mission in the Idaho Boise Mission. We're now teaching Connie the lessons because she wants to know what her granddaughter believes. We met with her like Sister Grimnes' first week in the field (aka like 6 or 7 weeks ago) and haven't been able to meet with her since, but we've talked on the phone a lot so that's good! But we were able to teach her the Restoration and that's my favorite lesson to teach. It's the best. So many blessings have come from the resoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm so grateful that I know that Joseph Smith was called to be a prophet and was called to open the last dispensation! We have the priesthood in our church and can be sealed to our families and we have a prophet to day! President Nelson teaches us things to help us and our families! So many blessing have come from the Restoration! I love it!
Also some time last week was Ohio Statehood day! Sister Nielson, a member in the ward, gave us Ohio shaped cookies to celebrate! They were so cute!
I can't think of anything else to update you on. Have a great week! I love you all!
Love, Sister Grant
P.S. The tower we heard was a prayer tower and now it's used for some company (phones? idk) but we call it the Tower of Babel.
