Happy Memorial Day!

Hola!
First off, happy Memorial Day! And happy late birthday to Erin! And happy early birthday to Collin!

This week was really great! We taught Joan on Saturday! I don't know if I've told you about Joan but she is great! We were trying an old referral for a missionary visit named Jonah but when we knocked on the door Joan answered and was super confused because her name is similar to that and just a couple weeks before we knocked on her door one of her best friends (who is a member of the church) told her she needed to get a copy of the Book of Mormon and read it! So we talked to her about the Book of Mormon and set up a time to meet with her again. We taught her the restoration and she said she felt so good as we were sharing it. And then we came back this Saturday to clarify some things about the Book of Mormon and make sure she understood everything we shared with her. We brought Sister Cady (a member of the BG ward) with us and it was a really good lesson. Joan has had a lot of questions all her life concerning religion. She was sharing some of them with us and it's so cool because ALL of her questions could be answered through the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. We're excited to keep teaching her. We hope to see her progress too! She really is amazing! Its incredible to see how much the Gospel makes sense! It might not all time time but it sure will if we keep learning about it. And it helps answer questions of the soul. The Gospel is awesome!

We also had a Memorial Day picnic at the church on Monday and DAN CAME AND BROUGHT HIS SISTER!! It was so great! We sat by them and it was really great for one of Dan's family members to see we aren't freaks! I love the Bowling Green Ward so much!

We had exchanges yesterday and Monday with the Fremont Sisters. This means Sister Grimnes and Sister Callister came to our area! I had the wonderful opportunity to spend the day with Sister Callister! We did lots of tracting and lots of service! We helped a lady pull approximately 1,000,000 weeds from her flower beds. It was so much fun!

It's been hot and humid and it's been pretty nice. I'm so grateful for the sun and even more grateful for sun screen!
Love yins!

Love, Sister Grant
